Genesis Rust Store Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases made through the Genesis Rust store, including purchases made through GenesisRust.com, our Tebex storefront, or any other official Genesis Rust purchasing platform.
By purchasing any package, rank, perk, cosmetic, virtual item, service, or other digital benefit from Genesis Rust, you agree to these Terms.
1. Digital Purchases
All purchases from the Genesis Rust store are for digital products, services, server benefits, or virtual content associated with the Genesis Rust game server.
Purchases do not provide ownership of the Genesis Rust server, its software, plugins, configurations, intellectual property, or any other server assets.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, purchases have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
2. No Guarantee of Server Availability
Genesis Rust is an independently operated multiplayer game server.
We do not guarantee that Genesis Rust will remain online, operational, accessible, populated, or available for any specific period of time.
Any purchased rank, perk, benefit, virtual item, entitlement, or service is valid only while the Genesis Rust server and the applicable service are operational.
If Genesis Rust permanently shuts down, discontinues operations, changes ownership, changes platforms, or otherwise becomes unavailable, purchased benefits may become unavailable without compensation, replacement, or extension except where required by applicable law.
Purchasing from the Genesis Rust store does not create any promise or guarantee that the server will operate for any specific amount of time.
3. No Guarantee of Specific Features
Genesis Rust is continuously updated and may change because of:
- Rust game updates;
- Facepunch Studios updates;
- plugin changes;
- server balancing;
- technical problems;
- security concerns;
- abuse or exploitation;
- changes to server rules;
- changes to server population or economy;
- changes required to maintain the health of the server.
As a result, purchased perks and benefits may be modified, rebalanced, replaced, limited, suspended, or discontinued.
We may make reasonable changes to purchased benefits when necessary for server balance, security, technical compatibility, fairness, or continued operation of the server.
Purchasing a package does not guarantee that every feature included with that package will remain unchanged indefinitely.
4. Lifetime or Permanent Benefits
If a package is described using terms such as “lifetime,” “permanent,” or similar wording, those terms refer to the operational lifetime of the applicable Genesis Rust server or service.
They do not mean the purchaser’s biological lifetime and do not guarantee that Genesis Rust will operate indefinitely.
A lifetime or permanent benefit ends if the applicable Genesis Rust server or service is permanently discontinued unless otherwise stated by Genesis Rust or required by law.
5. Wipes and Resets
Rust servers periodically wipe or reset.
Unless a package specifically states otherwise, virtual items, resources, kits, balances, claims, or other wipe-specific benefits may reset according to the server’s wipe schedule.
Certain account-level benefits, such as VIP status, may continue across wipes for the duration applicable to the purchase.
6. Refunds
Because Genesis Rust purchases generally involve digital goods and services that may be delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered or activated.
Refunds may be provided when required by applicable law or at the discretion of Genesis Rust.
We are not responsible for purchases made by mistake, failure to read package descriptions, changes in player preference, server bans resulting from rule violations, temporary server downtime, game updates, or changes made for reasonable server balancing purposes.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
7. Bans, Suspensions, and Rule Violations
Purchasing a rank or package does not exempt a player from Genesis Rust rules.
Players who violate server rules may be warned, suspended, muted, restricted, or permanently banned.
A ban or suspension does not automatically entitle the purchaser to a refund for previously purchased benefits.
Purchases do not provide immunity from moderation or special treatment in disciplinary decisions.
8. Account Responsibility
Purchases are generally associated with the Steam account or other account information entered during checkout.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when making a purchase.
Genesis Rust is not responsible for purchases assigned to the wrong account because of information incorrectly entered by the purchaser.
Account sharing, transferring benefits, selling accounts, or transferring purchased packages may be restricted or prohibited.
9. Technical Issues
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver purchased benefits, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Temporary outages, plugin failures, hosting problems, Rust updates, Steam outages, networking issues, DDoS attacks, maintenance, or other technical problems may temporarily affect purchased benefits.
Temporary interruptions do not automatically entitle a purchaser to a refund.
10. Package Changes
Genesis Rust may change the contents, pricing, availability, or structure of store packages.
Changes to newly sold packages do not necessarily apply retroactively to older purchases.
Genesis Rust may choose to grandfather certain existing purchasers into previous benefits but is not obligated to do so unless specifically promised as part of the purchase.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe there is a problem with a purchase, please contact Genesis Rust or the applicable payment provider before initiating a chargeback when reasonably possible.
Fraudulent chargebacks, unauthorized payment disputes, or abuse of the payment dispute process may result in suspension of store privileges or server access.
Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising legitimate rights available through your payment provider or applicable law.
12. Third-Party Services
Genesis Rust may use third-party services such as Tebex, Steam, Discord, payment processors, hosting companies, analytics providers, or other service providers.
Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Genesis Rust is not responsible for outages or failures caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.
13. Rust, Facepunch, and Valve
Genesis Rust is an independent community server.
Genesis Rust is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Facepunch Studios, Valve Corporation, Steam, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
Rust and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Genesis Rust is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the server or store.
Genesis Rust does not guarantee server uptime, player population, continued development, continued availability of specific plugins or features, or continued operation of the server.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
15. Changes to These Terms
Genesis Rust may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted on the Genesis Rust website or store with an updated revision date.
Material changes will apply going forward and will not override rights that already vested under applicable law.
